Growing up, Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl were my favourites.\n\nI write clean, no-flinch mysteries and have two series; The Charlotte Denver Cozy Mystery Series and The Bliss Bay Village Mystery Series.\n\nMy first series was inspired by happy holidays spent in the beautiful county of Cornwall, in the south-west of England, as well as the years I spent running my own marina-front café bar in Spain. \n\nAlthough the town of St. Eves is fictional, and the majority of characters aren't based on anyone in particular, a little of the people I met, and the adventures I had, have all found their way into the stories, in one way or another!\n\nMy second series follows the life of Megan Fallon, a 39-year old empty nester who finds adventure, mysteries and murder when she's lured back to her childhood home in the village of Bliss Bay, following news of a family celebration. Along the way, she meets up with old friends, a long-lost mischievous uncle with a hankering to fight crime, a clumsy childhood acquaintance who has undergone a startling transformation, and a very crabby tabby cat.\n\nIf I had to sum up my books, I'd say they're mysteries with twists you won't see coming with humour, a touch of romance, happy, heartwarming endings, and characters who'll stay with you long after you've finished reading.\n\nWhen I’m not scribbling down ideas for new stories, or tapping away on my laptop, you’ll most likely find me with my nose in a book (I read everything from mysteries and romance to biographies and cookbooks), rustling up something experimental in the kitchen, or pandering to the every whim of my gorgeous rescue dog, George, who has me well and truly wrapped around his little paw. \n\nIf you'd like to receive an early notification of new releases, discounts and other book-related news, please join my readers' group on my website at https://sherribryan.com, or follow me here on Bookbub. \n\nThanks in advance if you pick up any of my books.\n\nWith best wishes, \n\nSherri.
